Architectual Review Board

The ARB (Architectural Review Board) is responsible for reviewing requests from property owners who wish to make changes to the exterior of their property.  Before beginning any changes to the exterior of your home or property, an ARB request must be submitted for approval.  At present the Architectural Review Board consists of Board members and Blaine Anderson from BCM Services.  The fee for submitting an ARB request is $150.00 but is currently being waived and is subject to change.

All requests to the Architectural Review Board can be submitted two ways:
1) Click on this link to the BCM page and complete the ARB form digitally. 
2) Print and fill out the below form and either hand deliver or mail it to the BCM office.

All ARB submittals must be accompanied by detailed plans/designs with specifications and a copy of your lot survey.  This would include copies of the paint chips for any color change requests.  Each request must be addressed to The Colony at Greenbriar Homeowners Association and submitted to BCM Services.  All requests will be logged in by BCM Services and a disposition on the request will be issued within 30 days. If you need this expedited, please be sure to fw the request to a board member and we will be glad to keep tabs on it. 

Examples of items that DO require approval include, but not limited to, the following:

• New construction of any type. Includes room additions, modifications or changes that affect the exterior, adding a sunroom, adding or extending a patio, etc.
• Adding a pool, pool enclosure, hot tub, etc.
• Painting of anything on the exterior of the home.
• Replacing or changing the color, material, and or style of roofing material.
• Fencing to include new fence, fence relocation, replacement of existing fence with a different style or color, etc.
• Changing the function of the garage or patio, e.g. converting a garage to a bedroom or a patio to a rec-room.

 Examples of items that DO NOT require approval include, but not limited to, the following: 

• Fence replacement with like colors and materials and in the same location.
• Changes inside the home not visible from the outside.  Please note county permits may be required.
